How many types of replica perfumes are there?

Hello everyone, it’s Huy again. Today, I’d like to share some insights about replica perfumes and some basic knowledge to help you better understand this product. If you’re interested in buying for resale, please support me!

Replica perfumes are similar to replica sneakers—they are produced by various workshops, ranging from large-scale to small-scale operations, and come in different quality levels available on the market today. Currently, I can categorize them into three types:

  • Grade C: Low-quality type, not worth mentioning, doesn’t resemble the original, priced cheaply at under $10.
  • Grade B: Counterfeit products manufactured in Zhejiang Province, China, at artisanal workshops.
  • Grade A: Vietnam perfume (1:1 replica).

Explanation: Why is it called Vietnam perfume? In reality, these perfumes are produced in China, but the raw materials are imported from Vietnam. Why Vietnam and not other countries? Looking back at history, Vietnam was once colonized by France. Vietnam is a country rich in natural resources, and during the 70 years of French colonization, they exploited a vast amount of raw materials from here to create perfumes. To me, “Vietnam perfume” refers to the best version, with a scent that resembles the original by 90-95%, using raw materials sourced from Vietnam.

The products I’m selling to you are all Grade A.

  1. Composition of Grade A Perfume
All perfumes on the market are blends of fragrance oils (top notes, middle notes, base notes) with alcohol as the carrier. It’s like mixing a cocktail—the raw materials are the same, but the quality depends on the perfumer’s skill. Vietnam perfume uses reverse engineering to determine the blending ratios of authentic perfumes and then reproduces them accordingly. This isn’t a complex technical challenge, and in my opinion, China’s reverse engineering techniques currently surpass those of other countries.
  2. Is it harmful to the skin? Is it safe?
Claims that replica perfumes contain harmful ingredients are often propaganda from big brands. Perfume ingredients consist only of fragrance oils and alcohol—there’s no need to add anything else. Adding other substances would be pointless and unnecessarily increase costs. Major brands spread such claims to reinforce their market position and brand value.
  3. Scent of Grade A Perfume
The scent is recreated to 90-95% of the original, making it very difficult for the average person to distinguish (Grade C smells awful and harsh). Grade A has a pleasant fragrance, with only slight differences in the middle and base notes. But honestly, who would keep sniffing for hours just to tell the difference between real and fake? What matters is that you like the scent, and you don’t need to show it off excessively.
  4. Longevity
The staying power of Grade A perfume is comparable to the original, and some even last longer. When sprayed on clothing, the scent can linger for up to 24 hours. Longevity also depends on the surface it’s applied to.
  5. Packaging
The exterior packaging of Grade A products is 99% identical to the original, from the bottle to the box and even the scannable codes on the packaging.

In conclusion, if you view perfume as a spice for life, replica perfumes are well worth trying because they can save you a lot of money. However, if you’re particular about scents or see a perfume brand as a personal spiritual value, then go for the authentic ones. If you need good-quality perfumes for resale, please support me! Thank you all!
